Help us feed approximately 75 local families each month through our food pantry, help us house and feed and love on 100 local homeless neighbors through our annual Warming Center, provide spiritual equipping for dozens of kids each week, facilitate a generously welcoming environment and foster deeper relationships with Jesus and his followers through Sunday and special services, mid-week small groups and prayer sessions, Vineyard Kids and our Youth groups, spiritual direction, community events and more. Funds help cover items like staff support, building costs, curriculum and more.
Support communities of Jesus’ followers around the world through our international partnership in Ethiopia. Funds support some of the poorest and most vulnerable children in the communities, empowering local leaders, and other works, including compassion and training.
Why should I give?
The Bible gives numerous reasons for giving. Below are a few reasons why we think it is valuable to tithe (giving ten percent of our income to God). The key principle is that giving reveals spiritual maturity.
- Tithing demonstrates that God has first place in my heart. Deut. 14:22-23.
- Tithing reminds me that everything was given to me by God! Deut. 8:18.
- Tithing expresses my gratitude to God. Deut. 16:17-18.
Each person should give what they have decided in their heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed. – Paul the Apostle (2 Corinthians 9)
