Welcome to Vineyard Kids at the Renaissance Vineyard Church.
What will happen with my kids?
We have a range of age specific programs for children designed with the understanding that children need a spiritual framework for their lives too. Young people learn to experience God at their level, become equipped to pray, and learn to trust in God for themselves. Our vision is to partner with you in helping you guide your children into knowing, loving and serving God, and to prepare them for a lasting relationship with Jesus. We want to equip our children and youth, empowering them to go out and be the church in their world. All of our volunteers working with minors go through a screening process, and are supervised to insure a safe and quality environment for them.
Jesus honored children and powerfully spoke about them as a model for humility and greatness. His words inspire us to give our best for our Vineyard Kids and teachers in a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment where everyone gets to play! Our ministry for children meets in its own comfortable and secure area. Parents are invited to check in their infant through 8th graders at our check-in station before the service. We release our elementary aged kids and junior high students to their parents after the message, so that they may join in on the worship. Our senior high youth stay with us during the whole gathering. We also have monthly Mid-High gatherings for fun, friendship and time for focus on God. Our senior high students get together weekly to strengthen their faith in a real environment where they can be themselves. Click here to read our full Children’s Ministry Policies and Procedure.
How can I help?
Our ministry to children involves teachers, assistants, office help, security team members and more, all volunteering their time to help our kids connect with God in age-appropriate ways and grow in their faith and maturity. If you’re interested in helping, you can always talk with a member of our leadership team. Megan Pool oversees our Vineyard Kids and Vineyard Youth programs, with a special focus on our elementary and senior high communities. Marcia Thaxton leads the Nursery and Preschool teams, and Julie Decker is the mid-high champion. You can get in touch with us by calling the office at 248.545.4664, or you can send us an email now at firstname.lastname@example.org.
